Job summary

ECS Group of Companies invites a CMT Intern Level I to observe and begin routine field and laboratory testing tasks supporting construction materials testing projects. You will collect data, document results, and learn testing methods under supervision while gaining familiarity with construction practices and project workflows.

The position focuses on developing foundational technical skills and professional competencies, with a positive customer service attitude and adherence to ECS Core

Qualifications

Pursuing an Associate, Bachelor, or Master degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
Ability to lift up to 85 pounds and work in outdoor field conditions.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Willingness to obtain required certifications within introductory periods (e.g., Radiation Safety, Soils I, Concrete I).
Must have valid driver's license if driving for ECS.

Responsibilities

Assist with field and laboratory construction materials testing activities in the field and lab.
Observe and participate in testing of soil, concrete, asphalt, and other materials.
Document site conditions and testing results in field reports.
Assist with preparing and organizing field and laboratory equipment.
Perform basic data entry, calculations, and data reduction.

Pursuing Associate/Bachelor/Master in Civil Engineering or related field
