Job summary

Terracon is seeking a Construction Materials Tech/Technician in Pittsburgh, performing field and laboratory testing of soils, aggregates, concrete, asphalt, and steel. You will collect samples, document results, and support project managers with accurate data submission.

Under supervision, you will gain certification training (ACI within 90 days, Nuclear Density Gauge within 6 months) and contribute to safety and quality across projects in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months field testing/observation experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license may be required depending on site.
• ACI certification must be obtained within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform field testing, observation, and inspection of construction materials.
• Prepare and submit data and reports to Project Manager.
• Maintain equipment and adhere to safety standards.
• Assist with scheduling and dispatch of Technicians to sites as needed.
