Job summary

Reframe Systems is hiring a Construction Materials Procurement & Supply Chain Lead to own the flow of materials from design decision to installation across both the factory and the field. This player-coach role will roll up sleeves on RFQs, POs, expedites, and supplier management while also designing a simple, reliable procurement and inventory system for future projects and microfactories.

You will be embedded with designers, engineers, and operations to connect material choices to cost,

Qualifications

• 7-12+ years in supply chain, procurement, or inventory roles in construction/modular/building products or adjacent manufacturing.
• Experience running RFQs, placing POs, managing suppliers, fixing stockouts.
• Experience designing or upgrading procurement processes and data structures behind that work.
• Lived through at least one ERP / WMS implementation or major upgrade as lead user.
• Comfort with scrappy tools (Sheets, QuickBooks, basic databases) to design scalable systems.
• Good at writing checklists, runbooks, processes, and standards.

Responsibilities

• Own material availability for factory and jobsite from permit set through installation.
• Build and run a playbook for long-lead items to prevent delays.
• Lead supplier strategy: source and manage suppliers for key materials and negotiate terms.
• Develop a simple procurement and inventory system that can scale to future projects.
• Collaborate with designers, engineers, and operations to connect material choices with cost and lead-time.
• Shape future ERP/WMS requirements in partnership with software and finance teams.
