Southeast Concrete Systems, Inc. is seeking a skilled Procurement & Resource Control Manager to own procurement, cost control, and field support for equipment rentals, concrete purchases, and material logistics across active projects.

The role drives alignment of orders, deliveries, usage, billing, transfers, and returns with project budgets and negotiated vendor rates, ensuring accuracy and timely execution on all fronts.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in procurement or purchasing, with at least 2 years in construction or specialty contracting.
• Strong knowledge of construction job costing and vendor management.
• Experience in equipment rental costs, vendor pricing, and invoice reconciliation in a project-based environment.
• Proficiency with Excel and construction ERP systems (Sage 300 CRE, Acumatica, Viewpoint or equivalent).
• Ability to read plans, scopes of work, vendor quotes, and subcontract-related procurement requirements.

Responsibilities

• Manage lifecycle of project materials to ensure timely mobilization and minimal excess inventory.
• Oversee the equipment rental process from request to return with pricing and contracts compliance.
• Implement processes for tracking concrete usage and costs and ensure accurate billing and documentation.
• Audit invoices regularly to confirm alignment with budgets and vendor agreements; produce exception reports for management.
• Coordinate material transfers between projects to optimize resources and reduce waste.
• Maintain relationships with vendors, negotiate terms, and ensure procurement standards compliance.
