Job summary

S&ME is seeking a Construction Materials Project Manager in Charlotte, NC to lead the delivery of materials testing, inspections, and technical consulting for diverse projects.

You will manage field operations, review results, develop reports and proposals, and mentor junior staff, leveraging your knowledge of soils, concrete, asphalt, and masonry to drive quality and client relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management or equivalent
• Minimum 4 years of project management experience in construction materials testing/inspections
• Excellent business and technical writing and strong communication skills

Responsibilities

• Lead field operations for construction materials testing and inspections.
• Review testing results and prepare technical reports and proposals.
• Support growth and development of junior team members.
• Engage with clients and contribute to project scope and planning
