S&ME in Wilmington, NC seeks a Construction Materials Field Supervisor to lead a dedicated testing team on multiple sites. You will oversee field operations, ensure quality results, and maintain safety standards while building strong client relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Structural, Geotechnical engineering or construction-related field.
• Minimum 2 years' experience in construction materials testing/inspecting soils, concrete, masonry and/or asphalt.
• Experience in supervisory or management role.
• Active CM industry certifications such as ACI Field Testing Grade I and ICC Special Inspector.
• Strong English communication skills (speaking, reading, writing).

Responsibilities

• Provide supervision and scheduling of field staff across multiple sites.
• Coordinate with Services Managers and Project Managers on progress.
• Train staff on field testing, oversee certifications.
• Lead safety efforts and conduct regular safety meetings.
• Ensure testing equipment and calibration; support QA supervisor.
