Job summary

ColonialWebb Contractors Company is seeking a Site Material Logistics Coordinator to manage the flow of materials and equipment on construction sites, coordinating deliveries and storage to keep projects moving smoothly.

The role collaborates with Superintendents, Project Managers, subcontractors, and suppliers, and requires basic math, forklift operation, and familiarity with plumbing and sheetmetal materials. A strong team player attitude and safety focus are essential.

Qualifications

• Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and fractions).
• Experience in construction logistics preferred.
• Ability to operate typical construction equipment for material handling; forklift/lull operation required.
• Familiarity of general plumbing / pipe fittings and Sheetmetal materials, to fulfill orders properly to the field teams.
• Basic computer and tablet skills, including use of email and material tracking applications.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the delivery and storage of materials and equipment.
• Oversee and manage multiple material handlers for timely delivery to and from site areas.
• Help set up and maintain tool inventory; check in/out to personnel daily.
• Monitor inventory of basic consumables and restock when necessary.
• Communicate with Supervisors and Suppliers regarding back-ordered deliveries and receipts.
• Utilize logistics and material tracking software to track all orders.
• Work safely and comply with health and safety rules.
