Job summary

ColonialWebb is seeking a Site Logistics Coordinator in Richmond, VA to manage the flow of materials and equipment on construction sites. You will plan and coordinate deliveries, maintain inventory, and collaborate with Superintendents, Project Managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to keep projects moving smoothly.

Qualifications

  • Basic math and measurement skills.
  • Experience in construction logistics preferred.
  • Forklift/lull operation is required.
  • Familiarity with plumbing/pipe fittings and Sheetmetal materials.
  • Able to work in a team and maintain positive attitude.
  • Good communication with supervisors and teammates.
  • Willingness to work varying shifts, including nights and weekends.
  • Capable of working under pressure and meeting deadlines.
  • Basic computer/tablet skills and email/use of tracking apps.
  • Ability to communicate back-ordered deliveries with supervisors and suppliers.

  • Set up and maintain tool inventory; check in/out to personnel daily.
  • Perform material handling as needed.

  • Communicate back-ordered deliveries with Supervisors and Suppliers.
  • Use logistics software to track orders.
  • Cut materials and make subassemblies as directed.
  • Work safely and promote safety practices.
