S&ME's New Albany, IN lab is seeking a full-time Construction Materials Laboratory Technician to perform routine testing of soil, concrete, masonry, and asphalt and to report results. The role includes maintaining equipment, calibrations, and reviewing junior staff results using electronic reporting software.

Required are a High School diploma or GED, 3+ years in a construction materials lab, ACI Level II, ICC Special Inspector credentials, and strong English communication.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Related vocational training is a plus.
• ACI Concrete Lab Testing Technician Level II required.
• ICC Special Inspector credentials desired (reinforced concrete, masonry, soils).
• Ability to perform math with weight, volume, pressure, and units.
• Strong reading and writing in English.

Responsabilités

• Test and report soil, concrete, masonry, and asphalt samples in the lab.
• Maintain and calibrate lab testing equipment.
• Review junior staff test results and coordinate assignments on projects.
