Job summary

S&ME, Inc. is seeking full-time Construction Materials Laboratory Technicians (entry-level to experienced) to support our KY Locke project in Paducah, KY.

You will test soil, concrete, and asphalt, document results, maintain equipment, and collaborate with experienced technicians in a growing laboratory environment. We offer professional training, opportunities for growth, and a comprehensive benefits package as part of a 100% employee-owned firm.

Qualifications

• 高中/GED required or equivalent.
• 0–5+ years in construction materials testing/inspections.
• Valid U.S. driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Ability to safely operate a company vehicle and pass background checks.

Responsibilities

• Perform tests on soil, concrete, masonry, and asphalt; document results.
• Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment; ensure test accuracy.
• Travel with per diem to support KY Locke project in Paducah, KY.

Education

High school diploma/GED

ACI certifications (Field Testing Grade I; Strength Testing Technician; Laboratory Technician)

ICC Special Inspector (Reinforced Concrete, Masonry, Soils)
