Job summary

Superior Product Distributors, Inc. is seeking an experienced Inside Sales Representative – Construction Products to join our Milldale team. This role supports customers with their material needs and coordinates with branches while ensuring outstanding service.

The ideal candidate has knowledge of construction materials (waterworks, landscaping, concrete, masonry) and strong communication skills. This is a fast-paced, in-person role requiring multitasking and safe handling of materials.

Qualifications

• Experience with construction materials such as waterworks, landscaping, concrete, masonry, or related products.
• Prior customer service experience preferred.
• Prior inside sales or counter sales experience preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to lift 45 pounds and handle materials safely.
• Proficient with computer systems and office technology.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to contractors, customers, and walk-in customers.
• Sell construction materials, including waterworks, landscaping, concrete, masonry, and related products.
• Assist customers with product selection, availability, pricing, and general product questions.
• Answer phone calls and process customer orders using company computer systems.
• Prepare and write delivery tickets accurately.
• Facilitate product transfers between branches to meet customer needs.
• Communicate with customers, branch personnel, drivers, and other departments to coordinate orders and deliveries.
• Stock shelves, organize merchandise, and assist with merchandising product displays.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment, including light-duty cleaning as needed.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
