SRS Distribution Inc. in Columbia, MO is seeking an Inside Sales professional to provide product knowledge across drywall, insulation and related construction materials.

You will take orders, build relationships with customers, and support both counter and phone sales. You will collaborate with Outside Sales Reps and Sales Managers, develop product knowledge to assist purchases, and strive to overcome objections while quoting prices and processing sales orders.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or GED required, 4 year degree preferred.
• Ability to self-manage, show initiative and be comfortable meeting the public.
• Must be a team player, demonstrate attention to detail and have good organizational skills.

• Take orders at the sales counter and over the phone.
• Build relationships with customers.
• Enter orders using the company computer system.
• Complete sales orders and tender cash sales.
• Develop product knowledge to assist customers with purchases.
• Collaborate with Outside Sales Reps and Sales Managers to determine strategic sales approaches.
• Overcome objections of prospective customers.
• Emphasize product/service features, quote prices, discuss credit terms, and prepare sales orders/reports.
