Job summary

ECS Limited is seeking a Construction Materials Testing (CMT) Field Technician to join our Tulsa team. This role is primarily field-based, collecting data, documenting site conditions, and assisting with testing activities under supervision.

No prior experience is required; paid training is provided, and certification fees are paid. You will develop foundational skills in testing, communicate with site personnel, and support project execution with accurate data entry and reporting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 0 years of related experience.
• Good communication skills (verbal, written, reading).
• Basic math and data entry ability.

Responsibilities

• Performs field observation, testing, and sampling of soil, aggregates, and concrete under supervision.
• Assists with construction materials testing activities on project sites.
• Communicates daily with contractors, technicians, and project managers.
• Reports changing site conditions and additional testing needs to supervisors.
• Assists with preparation and submission of daily field reports.
• Supports basic calculations and data entry related to testing results.
• Assists in organizing and maintaining field equipment.
• Notifies supervisors of damaged or missing equipment.
• Participates in project meetings with senior staff as requested.
• Performs other field and project support duties as assigned.
