WHAT WILL I BE DOING?

As a Construction Materials Testing Technician in Harrisburg, PA, you will play an integral role in our organization’s success. You will work independently and with our team on various land development and construction projects. Your key responsibilities include:

• Performing field observations at job sites
• Sampling and testing construction materials
• Preparing daily logs of inspections and test results for materials such as soil, aggregates, concrete, grout, masonry, asphalt, and structural steel
• Communicating daily with Project Managers or Operations Managers regarding project progress and other pertinent information

WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS?

• Reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license, and satisfactory driving record
• Must meet pre-employment criteria
• Ability to lift/move up to 60-80 pounds
• Ability to work outdoors in various climates and terrains
• Attention to safety, detail, and quality
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency with tablets and MS Office
• Basic math skills and ability to use measurement tools
• Willingness to learn to read and interpret plans, specifications, and safety instructions with training

Preference given to experienced technicians with certifications such as ACI, NICET, WACEL, etc.
