Job summary

SpecPro Sustainment and Environmental, LLC seeks a Construction Inspector to support the 50th Civil Engineer Squadron at Schriever Space Force Base, CO. The role oversees complex facility and infrastructure projects from development through closeout, providing technical oversight and coordination with government personnel and contractors.

Responsibilities include reviewing submittals, leading field inspections, monitoring schedules and costs, interpreting drawings and specifications, and

Qualifications

• US citizenship required; must pass NACI
• Knowledge of engineering and construction standards, methods, and cost estimating for facility, pavement, and utility systems
• Familiarity with Federal, state, and local codes and regulations
• Knowledge of standard contracting regulations, practices, procedures, and negotiating techniques
• Ability to manage and monitor complex, multi-discipline construction projects
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and SOWs

Responsibilities

• Provide construction management support throughout the full lifecycle of facility and infrastructure projects
• Monitor complex, multi-discipline construction projects for compliance with plans, schedules, and quality requirements
• Assist in developing project requirement packages, schedules, and independent government cost estimates
• Review technical submittals, RFIs, shop drawings and provide recommendations
• Lead field meetings with contractors and project stakeholders
• Review contractor progress reports, schedules, and payment requests
• Perform construction surveillance and evaluate quality-control processes
• Interpret drawings, specs, SOWs to identify and resolve construction issues
• Support cost modification negotiations within delegated authority
• Support final project closeout and documentation
• Maintain comprehensive project files and logs
• Utilize AutoCAD, MS Project, ACES for project documentation and calculations
