Job summary

SpecPro Sustainment and Environmental (SSE), a BBNC subsidiary, seeks a Construction Inspector to support the 50 CES at Schriever Space Force Base, Colorado. You will perform on-site inspections to verify construction against approved plans, specifications, schedules, and safety requirements.

You will coordinate with Government personnel, engineers, architects, and contractors, review submittals and progress, document observations, and prepare detailed daily and weekly inspection reports.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship required.
• Ability to pass National Agency Check w/Inquiries (NACI).
• Knowledge of construction inspection practices and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site inspection and surveillance of complex construction projects to verify compliance with plans, specs and contract requirements.
• Monitor construction activities, schedules, sequencing, materials and workmanship.
• Interpret plans, specifications and construction details in the field.
• Review plans against field conditions and identify conflicts and constructability issues.
• Provide technical observations to Government personnel.
• Review submittals and progress schedules for Government approval or disapproval.
• Inspect materials/equipment and document non-compliant items.
• Prepare daily inspection reports and weekly summaries.
• Identify safety violations and coordinate meetings related to progress.
