Job summary

Tetra Tech is seeking a Construction Manager to join our Power team in the United States. You will oversee site coordination, schedule and cost control, construction monitoring, and regulatory liaison on renewable energy projects, with frequent travel to project sites.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of construction experience on PV solar, BESS, or wind projects, plus familiarity with MV/substations and T&D. A engineering designation helps; a valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• Strong construction background with renewable energy project experience.
• Experience on PV Solar, BESS or Wind Projects preferred.
• MV, Substations, T&D experience would be an asset.
• Construction experience of at least 5 years and willingness to rotate/travel.
• Engineering degree or recognized technical designation is an asset.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Site Coordination: ensure contractors meet obligations and project requirements.
• Project Schedule and Cost Control: monitor schedule and costs, report progress.
• Construction Monitoring: inspect work and review submittals for design conformance.
• Equipment Procurement Completion: monitor receipt and inspection of major equipment.
• Regulatory Compliance and Liaison: act as Owner’s representative with agencies and stakeholders.
