Job summary

Tetra Tech is seeking a Construction Manager to join the Power team and oversee site coordination, scheduling, and quality control on renewable energy projects. This role requires travel to project sites and regular rotation, with a strong construction background and relevant certifications preferred.

The ideal candidate will manage subcontractors, monitor budgets, and ensure compliance with design and safety standards while delivering projects on time.

Qualifications

• Strong construction background with renewable energy project exposure.
• Experience with PV Solar, BESS or Wind preferred.
• MV, Substations experience a plus.
• 5+ years of construction experience; rotation or away-from-home work required.

Responsibilities

• Site Coordination: ensure contractors understand obligations and project requirements.
• Project Schedule and Cost Control: monitor schedules and costs; update as needed; address changes.
• Construction Monitoring: inspect work for quality; review submittals; document progress with photos.
• Equipment Procurement Completion: monitor receipt and inspect major equipment/materials.
• Regulatory Compliance and Liaison: act as Owner’s rep with regulatory agencies and stakeholders.
