The Construction Manager is responsible for ensuring project success from a field level, acting as the primary liaison between field operations and the Project Manager. This role involves a blend of office-based management and on-site supervision, focusing on safety, quality, schedule adherence, and budget oversight. The position requires providing leadership to Construction Supervisors and coordinating work performed by contractors to meet project goals.
Education: An Associate or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Power Generation, or a related field is required. Equivalent experience may be considered.
Experience: 6 to 10 years of experience in power plant commissioning, working with EPC Contractors, engineering firms, and equipment suppliers.
Technical Skills: A strong understanding of engineering principles related to power plant commissioning is required. Proficiency with Word is also necessary.
Work Requirements: Driving will be required as part of the position duties. The supplier must hold validation of a non-restricted current driver's license and demonstrate no alcohol/drug-related driving offenses within the previous five years, and the license must not be currently suspended or restricted.
Per Diem and Mob/De-Mob expenses will be available for this requisition.
