Job summary

Apex Systems seeks an experienced Construction Manager-Level 2 to lead field operations on a Hillsboro site. The role blends office management with on-site supervision, emphasizing safety, quality, schedule adherence, and budget oversight.

You will guide Construction Supervisors, coordinate with EPC teams, and ensure alignment with project stakeholders. With 6–10 years of power plant commissioning experience, you will drive contractor coordination, perform walk-downs, and support dispute

Qualifications

• Education in engineering or power generation required with related field experience.
• 6 to 10 years of power plant commissioning experience with EPC contractors or equivalents.
• Must hold a valid driver's license with clean driving record and no recent offenses.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage contractor work at the project site.
• Assess productivity, schedule, quality and safety performance.
• Validate completed work against design and approve payments.
• Provide leadership to Supervisors and coordinate with field teams.
• Bridge field operations and customer leadership to align goals.
• Address logistics, conflicts, and keep activities on schedule.
• Oversee SHE practices, testing, and QA processes.
• Ensure data collection and progress reporting for disputes.
• Utilize environmental, material, safety, and SME resources.
