Job summary

APi Inc. in Point Pleasant, WV is seeking a Construction Manager to oversee insulation and sheet metal contracts, manage progress, materials, and staffing, and maintain weekly progress reports.

This role requires strong client interaction, budgeting, and safety compliance on active construction sites nationwide. The Construction Manager will supervise staff, coordinate deliveries, and ensure projects are completed on schedule and within budget, while representing the company in contract matters

Responsibilities

• Monitor job progress, verify field progress, and resolve scheduling issues.
• Lead, support, and develop direct reports with coaching and feedback.
• Facilitate on-site meetings and maintain primary day-to-day customer communication.
• Manage project cost control by tracking budget vs. actuals and supporting change orders.
• Oversee project administration: progress reports, time sheets, documentation, and correspondence.
• Maintain organized project documentation: drawings, specs, schedules, inventories, reports.
• Coordinate materials and workflow: takeoffs, orders, and upcoming work.
• Collaborate with Project Manager, Superintendent, customers, and team for progress and execution.
• Direct workforce readiness through orientation, safety training, and QA/QC.
