Job summary

APi Inc. is hiring a Project Manager in New Brighton, MN to lead insulation projects with direct P&L responsibility. The role involves coordinating with customers, field leaders, and internal teams to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to quality standards.

You will review bid packages, prepare estimates and proposals, manage change orders, and monitor costs and revenues throughout the project lifecycle. Travel to project sites is expected as needed.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
• Thorough understanding of contracts, plans, specifications, and regulations.
• Ability to remain flexible and efficient in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to make intelligent and quick decisions under pressure.
• Ability to multitask while analyzing and solving problems.
• Thorough understanding of engineering, architectural, and other construction drawings.

Responsibilities

• Plan long-range project schedules and milestones.
• Monitor safety, quality, productivity, and profitability across projects.
• Track billings, cash flow, and project financial performance.
• Review drawings, bid packages, estimates, and proposals.
• Oversee subcontractors and administer construction contracts.
• Conduct project planning reviews and report progress to owners and general contractors.
• Forecast manpower needs and ensure proper staffing for productivity.
• Support/lead estimating and design activities as needed.
