Job summary

Hill International, Inc. in Amarillo, TX seeks an experienced Project Construction Manager to lead complex healthcare and research capital projects. You will direct design and construction teams, manage budgets and schedules, and ensure project goals are met.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in construction/engineering and at least 5 years of PM experience on-site. You will coordinate with A/E firms, review contracts, and oversee safety and compliance throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required with minimum 5 years project construction management experience.
• Must be local or willing to work on-site in Amarillo, TX.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional project construction management and leadership on multiple large, complex healthcare and research projects at HHSC campus.
• Direct design and construction firms and administer contracts to meet project goals.
• Provide constructability input during the project design phase.
• Manage the construction, commissioning and turnover of major capital projects with project leadership and coordination.
• Oversee budget, schedule, quality assurance and coordination of construction services.
• Review and approve construction contracts, changes, pay applications, and field orders as needed.
• Ensure project compliance with documents, OFPC processes, and state/federal regulations.
• Coordinate A/E construction administration and third-party testing/inspection contracts.
• Monitor site safety and oversee warranty period activities with field inspections and testing.
