Job summary

Hill International, Inc. is seeking a Project Manager in Houston, Texas to lead and coordinate project delivery from initiation to closeout. You will oversee budgets, schedules, and procurement while directing design professionals, contractors, and campus stakeholders to achieve project objectives.

The role emphasizes strong leadership, communication, and risk management in a higher-education or research project environment. Excellent client relations and contract administration are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, architecture or engineering, plus training, registration and licensure as required.
• Minimum 5–10 years of project management experience on higher education/K-12 and/or research projects.
• Experience directing design professionals and administering contracts to meet project goals.
• Experience directing contractors, reviewing schedules and estimates, and processing payments.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate project execution to meet goals, budgets, and schedules.
• Manage design and construction from initiation through closeout.
• Facilitate meetings with owners, architects, and contractors and maintain client relations.
• Oversee budgets, schedules and procurement of design/construction services; drive performance and resolve issues.
• Ensure contract documents are aligned with project requirements and reviewed timely.
• Direct site activities with Resident Construction Manager and inspectors; ensure compliance.
• Apply project controls to track progress, mitigate risks, and maintain quality.
• Serve as liaison with campus staff and stakeholders to manage input and expectations.
