Job description

PMG Project Management, LLC is seeking a seasoned Construction Manager with over 10 years of experience managing large‑scale healthcare construction projects. This position is based in Austin, Texas and offers the opportunity to contribute to transformative healthcare infrastructure for public and private sector clients. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing the full lifecycle of healthcare facility construction, including planning, procurement, design oversight, construction execution, and closeout. Candidates with Certified Construction Manager (CCM) certification or equivalent credentials are strongly preferred.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as the Owner’s Representative for healthcare capital projects, overseeing design‑build or CMAR delivery methods.
  • Manage all phases of construction projects, including schedule, cost, quality, safety, and stakeholder communication.
  • Lead coordination with architects, contractors, consultants, and jurisdictional authorities.
  • Review and approve submittals, RFIs, change orders, and pay applications.
  • Monitor project performance against scope, budget, and timelines.
  • Provide leadership in resolving design or construction conflicts.
  • Prepare and deliver project reports to senior leadership and clients.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of construction management experience, specifically with healthcare facilities (hospitals, clinics, medical offices).
  • Demonstrated success delivering projects on time and within budget.
  • CCM certification preferred, or equivalent certifications (e.g., PE, PMP, DBIA).
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare‑specific regulations, codes, and infrastructure requirements.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and team leadership skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software (Procore, MS Project, or equivalent).
