Job summary

Matrix NAC in the United States seeks a Construction Manager to support Operations and Project Managers in safe, economical structure construction aligned with plans. You will oversee field execution, direct daily craft work through staff, and serve as a resource for job planning and execution.

The role emphasizes pre-job planning, coordination with subcontractors, and maintaining high safety and quality standards across projects.

Qualifications

• 4 year degree in Engineering or Construction Management, or equivalent experience with 10 years in related roles.
• Proven project management and P&L experience with supervisory responsibility.
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist operations and project managers in pre-job planning: budgets, schedules, safety, quality and staffing.
• Direct field execution and oversee daily craft work through subordinates.
• Attend bid meetings and walkdowns to determine scope and prepare estimates.
• Review RFPs, specs, drawings, and data to support scheduling and proposals.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and vendors; conduct site inspections and progress reviews.
• Develop procedures, train crews, and ensure best construction practices.
• Manage project documentation and administrative tasks.
