Job summary

Matrix NAC in the United States is seeking a Project Manager, Substation and Plant Electrical to direct multiple field projects of moderate risk and complexity. This role coordinates with clients, craft teams, and management to assure safety, quality, and on-time delivery.

The candidate should have 6+ years of related experience, a 4-year engineering/ construction management degree (or equivalent), PMI PM certification preferred, and strong communication and budgeting abilities with readiness to

Qualifications

• 6+ years of substation & plant electrical project experience with PM/P&L preferred
• 4-year degree in Mechanical, Civil or Industrial Engineering, or Construction Management, or 8 years of related experience without a degree
• PMI Project Management Certification preferred
• Strong understanding of industry practices and their impact on projects
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Knowledge of union electrical construction work practices

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate multiple field projects to meet budget, schedule and safety targets
• Represent the company at bid meetings, project meetings and strategy sessions
• Set project objectives, policies and performance standards within corporate guidelines
• Staff key field positions and supervise on-site activities
• Manage project financials, including billings and collections, and maintain client relationships
