Job summary

Empire Homes in San Antonio, TX is seeking an on-site Superintendent to oversee multiple residential construction projects from site prep to closing, ensuring quality, schedules, and safety.

You will manage budgets, coordinate with trade partners and vendors, maintain OSHA compliance, and deliver exceptional customer service and warranty support to homeowners.

Qualifications

• High school diploma; bachelor's degree in related field is preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of residential construction and customer service experience.
• Strong customer services skills, problem solving and organizational time management skills, with an eye for detail and accuracy.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; demonstrated ability to collaborate and manage relationships.

Responsibilities

• Manage construction of multiple homes from site preparation to closing while ensuring quality control and adherence to schedules.
• Communicate with vendors, trade partners, and subcontractors to confirm schedules, validate work, and resolve issues.
• Maintain a safe and organized work site, enforcing safety policies and adhering to OSHA regulations.
• Oversee project compliance with plans, specifications, industry standards, and codes, and manage material orders and inspections.
• Foster positive relationships with homeowners, team members, and trade partners, handling customer service and warranty requests.
• Prepare and manage punch lists, warranty work orders, and ensure tasks are completed to satisfaction.

The Superintendent oversees the planning, coordination, and execution of residential construction projects. They collaborate with trade partners, vendors, homeowners, and the community sales team to ensure that each home meets the company's quality standards.

This role is located on site in a community within the San Antonio, TX division.
