Empire Communities in Austin, TX is seeking a Staff Accountant to maintain general ledger, perform reconciliations, and track construction costs while supporting month-end close and accurate financial reporting. This on-site role partners with construction, purchasing and operations to ensure compliance with accounting policies and timely financial insights.
1–3 years in accounting and a Bachelor’s in accounting or related field are preferred.
The Staff Accountant supports the financial operations of a residential homebuilding organization by maintaining general ledger accounts, performing reconciliations, tracking construction and land development costs, supporting month-end close activities, and ensuring accurate financial reporting. This role partners closely with construction, purchasing, and operations teams to provide timely financial information and maintain compliance with accounting policies and procedures.
This role is located on site in the Austin, TX division office located at 3737 Executive Center Drive, St 200, Austin, TX 78731.
