The role offers exposure to ground-up residential, multifamily, mixed-use, and commercial projects across a growing portfolio.
We're partnered with a fast-growing, fully integrated real estate company that's looking to add a Construction Manager to its Chicago team.
This role is a great fit for someone from the General Contractor side looking to transition into an owner/developer role, with exposure to projects from early planning through final turnover. Rather than joining a project once construction begins, you'll have the opportunity to understand how projects come together from the developer's perspective and be involved throughout the full lifecycle.
The company has built an outstanding reputation delivering high-quality real estate projects across multifamily, residential, mixed-use, commercial, and other sectors and continues to expand its portfolio across multiple markets throughout the U.S. With a strong track record of successful developments and a growing pipeline of future opportunities, they offer the stability of an established organization while maintaining the collaborative feel of a growing team.
In this role, you'll play a key part in overseeing projects from the Developer / Owner side, working alongside General Contractors, architects, engineers, and consultants to drive successful project execution. You'll gain broader exposure to the decisions that happen before, during, and after construction while still utilizing your technical construction experience.
If you've built a strong foundation on the General Contractor side but have been interested in moving into development and seeing the bigger picture behind how projects come together, I'd love to tell you more.
