This full-time in-office role requires coordinating with field teams, architects, engineers, and ownership, while leveraging Procore to manage documentation, reporting, and communication across projects.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
  • 7+ years as a Project Manager in multifamily construction.
  • Proven experience managing ground-up multifamily projects.
  • Proficiency with Procore required.
  • Strong scheduling, budgeting, contracts, and project controls knowledge.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple ground-up multifamily projects from preconstruction through final completion.

  • Oversee RFIs, submittals, change orders, pay applications, and project documentation.
  • Collaborate with Superintendents to ensure project milestones, quality standards, and safety expectations are met.
  • Maintain strong communication with owners, architects, engineers, and project stakeholders.
  • Monitor project financial performance, identify risks, and implement solutions to keep projects on schedule and within budget.
  • Utilize Procore to manage project documentation, reporting, and communication.
  • Coordinate project closeout activities, punch lists, warranties, and turnover documentation.

Project Manager – Multifamily Construction

Location: Chicago, IL (Projects throughout Chicago proper)

Compensation: $120,000–$140,000 base salary + annual bonus + comprehensive benefits + 401(k)

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee the successful delivery of ground-up multifamily construction projects throughout the Chicago market. This individual will manage projects from preconstruction through closeout, ensuring schedules, budgets, quality standards, and client expectations are met while working closely with field teams, subcontractors, architects, and ownership.

This is a full-time, in-office position based in Chicago, with regular visits to local job sites.
