A well-capitalized real estate investment platform is seeking a Development & Construction Manager to support a growing pipeline of industrial development projects across the U.S. This hands-on role involves managing projects from early feasibility through to construction execution, requiring 3–5 years of relevant experience. The successful candidate will coordinate with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure project delivery aligns with scope and budget while having exposure to complete development lifecycle.

We’re partnered with a well-capitalized real estate investment platform seeking a Development & Construction Manager to support a growing pipeline of industrial development and repositioning projects across the U.S.

This is a hands‑on role focused on the full development lifecycle—from site feasibility and entitlements through construction execution and project delivery. The team is looking for someone with a true development + construction orientation, not a finance or underwriting‑heavy background.

The Role

You will play a key role in managing projects from early‑stage diligence through construction closeout, working closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure successful execution.

Key Responsibilities

Development & Pre‑Construction

• Support site evaluation, feasibility, and early‑stage project planning
• Assist in zoning analysis, utility assessments, environmental considerations, and site constraints
• Help manage entitlements, permitting processes, and municipal coordination
• Coordinate architects, engineers, and third‑party consultants
• Ensure design progression aligns with project scope, budget, and timeline
• Assist in value engineering and design optimization efforts

Construction Execution

• Support contractor selection, bid processes, and contract administration
• Track project schedules, budgets, and key milestones
• Participate in site visits, OAC meetings, and construction oversight

Project Delivery

• Assist with project closeout, punch lists, and turnover to operations
• Coordinate tenant improvements and ensure alignment with lease requirements

What We’re Looking For

• 3–5 years of experience in real estate development and/or construction
• Direct exposure to ground‑up development, entitlements, predevelopment, or construction management
• Experience working for a developer, general contractor, or related firm
• Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams
• Ability to operate in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment
