Job summary

Allegis Global Solutions is seeking an experienced Construction Manager to support Microsoft's critical infrastructure projects in the Dallas market. The role oversees schedules, site walks, and coordination with lease providers, GC and design teams to ensure safe, on-time delivery.

Requirement includes 10+ years in construction management, a related Bachelor's degree, and proficiency with MS Office and project controls. This is a hybrid, 40-hour-per-week contract position for 12 months.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Manage contractual milestones, project schedules, construction deliverables, and build specifications to ensure successful project execution.
• Coordinate and lead site walks, inspections, and meetings with lease providers, general contractors, consultants, and project stakeholders.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and develop mitigation strategies to maintain schedule and project objectives.
• Prepare and deliver weekly project status reports, project updates, executive summaries, and stakeholder communications.
• Review project specifications, contracts, drawings, and construction documentation to verify compliance with project requirements.
• Collaborate with engineering, construction, procurement, and operational teams to support project planning and execution activities.
• Analyze resource requirements, project constraints, schedules, and project performance metrics to improve project outcomes.
• Participate in contractor management activities, including progress reviews, issue resolution, and performance monitoring.
• Support cost management efforts through review of estimates, change requests, and project budgets.
• Promote and maintain construction safety standards and ensure compliance with site safety requirements and procedures.
• Provide leadership and coordination across multiple project stakeholders while maintaining focus on schedule, quality, and operational excellence.
• Perform additional construction management duties and project-related activities as required.

Construction Manager (Contract)

Please note that this is a contract role providing services to Microsoft through external staffing partners of Allegis Global Solutions. If you are selected for this role, you will be employed by AGS and will not be an employee of Microsoft.

Summary

We are seeking an experienced Construction Manager to support Microsoft's mission-critical construction and infrastructure projects in the Dallas, Texas market. This role will be responsible for managing project schedules, coordinating construction activities, conducting site walks with lease providers and general contractors, and ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and according to contractual requirements. The successful candidate will serve as a key project leader, partnering with internal stakeholders, external contractors, design teams, and construction partners to drive project execution from planning through delivery. This position requires a strong background in large-scale construction management, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to communicate effectively across multiple levels of an organization. This is a hybrid position operating Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in construction management, project management, construction operations, or infrastructure project delivery.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Experience managing large commercial, industrial, mission-critical, data center, or infrastructure construction projects.
• Proven experience coordinating contractors, construction activities, and project stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
• Strong understanding of construction methodologies, scheduling practices, project controls, and project delivery processes.
• Experience managing project schedules, contractual milestones, and progress reporting.
• Knowledge of construction safety principles, jobsite safety practices, and regulatory compliance requirements.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present information to project teams and leadership stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving, organizational, and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced construction environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project.
• Experience using Bluebeam preferred.
• Experience using Primavera P6 is highly desirable.
• PMP or PMI certification preferred.

• Pay Range: 86.00 - 97.00 per hour
