TEKsystems seeks an experienced Construction Manager for a large-scale data center project in Fort Worth, TX. You will partner with site leadership, manage daily interactions with the General Contractor, and independently assess construction progress in a fast-paced, high-ambiguity environment.

The role requires strong conflict resolution, business acumen, and risk mitigation capabilities, with prior data center construction preferred.

Description

Seeking an experienced Construction Manager to support a large-scale data center construction project in Fort Worth, TX. This individual will partner closely with site leadership and manage daily interactions with the General Contractor. The ideal candidate will possess strong conflict resolution skills, business acumen, risk mitigation capabilities, and the ability to independently assess construction progress. Responsibilities include walking the site, validating contractor reporting, identifying schedule or execution risks, supporting construction planning activities, reviewing progress updates, and ensuring contractor accountability. The candidate must be comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment with significant ambiguity and be capable of building partnerships while maintaining firm oversight of project execution. This role requires someone who can communicate effectively at all levels, navigate difficult conversations, and serve as a trusted extension of the site leadership team. Prior data center construction experience is preferred, but strong construction fundamentals and contractor management experience are more important than any specific technical specialty.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $90.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
