Job summary

New Orleans Restoration Properties seeks a Construction Manager to lead project planning, budgeting, and site supervision. You will collaborate with general contractors and subcontractors to ensure quality, safety, and on-time delivery across multiple projects in New Orleans.

The role requires travel to sites and participation in company meet-ups as needed. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s in construction-related field, 5+ years of management experience in multifamily/hospitality

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of construction management experience.
• Proven track record delivering projects on time and within budget.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and safety standards.
• Ability to manage safety codes, legal requirements, and financial commitments.
• Experience drafting, editing, and reviewing contract documents.
• Skilled in estimating and using project management tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Review project plans and updates with your team.
• Meet with general contractors to discuss timelines and budgets.
• Inspect ongoing work for quality and safety compliance.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and facilitate collaboration.
• Document progress and prepare weekly status reports.
• Plan and strategize for upcoming housing projects.
