Job summary

Dixie Construction, LLC is seeking a Construction Project Manager in New Orleans, LA, for full-time on-site work. The role focuses on overseeing residential construction, renovation, and restoration projects from planning through completion.

Ideal candidates will have 5+ years of PM experience, knowledge of historic homes, and strong skills in scheduling, budgeting, and client communication. Travel between Greater New Orleans sites is required.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of construction project-management experience.
• Residential renovation or restoration experience required.
• Experience with historic homes or custom residential construction preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans, drawings, and specifications.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle for travel between project sites.

Responsibilities

• Manage residential construction, renovation, remodeling, and restoration projects from start to finish.
• Coordinate daily activities among field crews, subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and material requirements.
• Review plans, drawings, specifications, and project documentation.
• Monitor workmanship and ensure projects meet quality, safety, and performance standards.
• Conduct regular site visits and address field issues promptly.
• Communicate project progress, changes, and concerns clearly to clients and company leadership.
• Track labor, materials, change orders, and project costs.
• Maintain accurate and current information in the company's project-management systems.
• Help create a more organized, efficient, and accountable project-delivery process.
