Job summary

Schumacher Homes of North Carolina Inc is seeking a Construction Manager to lead single-family, on-site homebuilding projects. You will work directly with customers to turn their dream home into reality, coordinate trades, and ensure quality, schedule adherence and homeowner satisfaction.

You will oversee builds from pre-construction through completion, applying technical construction knowledge and efficient on-site management.

Qualifications

• Prior scattered-site residential construction experience preferred.
• Technical construction knowledge to understand processes and terminology.
• Computer experience with mobile devices and email (Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Work with the customer to build their dream home, schedule trades and ensure quality and homeowner satisfaction.
• Builds assigned homes within time, cost, quality and satisfaction standards.
• Participates in pre-construction meeting with General Manager, Customer Coordinators and homeowners.

Construction Manager

• Must be proficient in understanding residential construction systems.
• Is responsible for working with the customer to build their dream home, schedule trades and ensure the home is built with attention to quality, meeting building time expectations and exceeding homeowner satisfaction!
• Builds assigned homes within time, cost, quality and satisfaction standards.
• Participates in pre-construction meeting with General Manager, Customer Coordinators and homeowners.

Requirements

• Prior scattered-site residential construction experience (preferred).
