Job summary

Schumacher Homes, an award-winning, on-your-lot homebuilder, is seeking a Construction Manager to lead field operations, coordinate trades, and ensure every home is built on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

You will work directly with customers, participate in pre-construction planning, and supervise crews to meet schedule and homeowner satisfaction while upholding safety and craftsmanship.

Qualifications

• Prior scattered-site residential construction experience (preferred).
• Technical construction knowledge to understand construction processes and terminology.
• Computer experience with mobile devices and email (Microsoft Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Builds assigned homes within time, cost, quality and satisfaction standards.
• Schedules trades and coordinates with customers to ensure dream homes are delivered.
• Participates in pre-construction meetings with management and homeowners.
• Ensures workmanship and safety standards are maintained on site.

Our Construction Manager

• Must be proficient in understanding residential construction systems.
• Is responsible for working with the customer to build their dream home, schedule trades and ensure the home is built with attention to quality, meeting building time expectations and exceeding homeowner satisfaction!
• Builds assigned homes within time, cost, quality and satisfaction standards.
• Participates in pre-construction meeting with General Manager, Customer Coordinators and homeowners.

Requirements

• Prior scattered-site residential construction experience (preferred).
• Technical construction knowledge to understand construction processes and terminology to assist in management of field personnel and systems.
• Computer experience - the ability to use technology (Smart Phone, I-Pad). Experience with Microsoft Outlook for email correspondence.
