Schumacher Homes, a premier on-your-lot homebuilder, is seeking a Construction Manager to lead residential projects with a focus on quality, schedule, and homeowner satisfaction.

You will partner with customers to realize their dream homes, schedule trades, and oversee field personnel while maintaining cost efficiency and timelines. The role requires hands-on construction knowledge and tech-savvy use of Outlook and mobile devices. Schumacher Homes offers a 36-hour work week and robust benefits.

Qualifications

• Prior scattered-site residential construction experience preferred.
• Technical knowledge to manage field personnel and systems.
• Proficiency with mobile devices and email communication.

Responsibilities

• Builds assigned homes within time, cost, quality and satisfaction standards.
• Works with customers to plan and schedule trades to meet deadlines.
• Participates in pre-construction meetings with leadership and homeowners.

Our Construction Manager

• Must be proficient in understanding residential construction systems.
• Is responsible for working with the customer to build their dream home, schedule trades and ensure the home is built with attention to quality, meeting building time expectations and exceeding homeowner satisfaction!
• Builds assigned homes within time, cost, quality and satisfaction standards.
• Participates in pre-construction meeting with General Manager, Customer Coordinators and homeowners.

Requirements

• Prior scattered-site residential construction experience (preferred).
• Technical construction knowledge to understand construction processes and terminology to assist in management of field personnel and systems.
• Computer experience - the ability to use technology (Smart Phone, I-Pad). Experience with Microsoft Outlook for email correspondence.
