Job summary

The Shelly Company, a CRH company, is seeking a Quality Control Intern to gain hands-on experience across HMA production, testing, and quality conformance at our Ohio sites. You will work with QC technicians, learn density determinations, sampling methods, and data entry, while upholding safety policies and teamwork in a fast-paced construction environment.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in an accredited college pursuing an Associate or Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Major fields: Mining Engineering, Construction Management, or related industry degree.
• Ability to read English and perform basic algebra and geometry.

Responsibilities

• Learn HMA production processes and QC methods.
• Assist with testing materials and recording results.
• Support density control and mix specification conformance.
• Collaborate with QC Technicians to understand testing procedures.
