Job summary

Zipline is hiring a Construction Management Intern for our Dallas‑Fort Worth, TX office. You will support the rollout of ground infrastructure across metros, coordinating with Engineering, Operations, Real Estate, and Government Affairs to move sites to operation quickly.

You must be a second‑year undergrad in CM/CE/Architecture/Real Estate Development, travel frequently within Dallas–Fort Worth, and be comfortable with hands‑on work and travel. Procore/Bluebeam familiarity preferred.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, Real Estate Development, or related field; must have completed the second year.
• Familiarity with Bluebeam, Procore, and similar construction software.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to travel frequently within Dallas–Fort Worth.

Responsibilities

• Support construction projects, site infrastructure installations, construction contractors, and additional real estate development projects ensuring schedule and cost targets are met or beaten.
• Help develop improvements to construction methods and processes.
• Source and foster relationships with external stakeholders, including local jurisdictions, utilities, landlords, and contractors.
• Assist with identifying and mitigating risks associated with pre‑construction and construction phases.
• Track and communicate project timelines with internal Zipline teams.
• Source and manage general contractors and subcontractors across various trades (construction, assembly, electrical) during bid, pre‑construction, construction, and site commissioning project phases.
• Support construction project quality and site‑readiness walks.
