Zipline is recruiting for a Field Construction Specialist to prepare customer sites for ground system installations and to perform on-site verification, base preparation, and installation to spec.

The role requires hands-on construction experience, ability to work independently in the field, and strong problem-solving skills. This position may involve physically demanding work and on-site safety responsibilities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on construction or site work.
• Strong background in concrete, masonry, paving, carpentry.
• Experience reading site plans and layout drawings.
• Ability to measure, level, and align with precision.
• Able to work independently in the field.
• Willingness to perform physically demanding work.
• Reliable and accountable, representing Zipline on site.

Responsibilities

• Review site plans and locate installation points in the field.
• Verify placement through measurement and survey interpretation.
• Prepare sites for installation, including excavation and base prep.
• Install and level steel base plates to specification.
• Anchor plates and install anchor rods and safety fixtures.
• Execute installation methods based on site conditions.
• Ensure work is level, aligned to spec, safe, and secure.
• Set up temporary safety measures (cones, barriers, fixtures).
• Identify and resolve field issues and communicate progress.
