Job summary

Mannik & Smith Group, Inc. in Cleveland, OH is seeking motivated students for a Summer 2027 Construction Engineering Internship.

Interns will work alongside experienced professionals on active projects, performing fieldwork, data collection and support tasks using AutoCAD and GIS tools. Candidates should be enrolled in ABET-accredited engineering or related programs, possess strong communication and teamwork skills, and be eager to learn.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an ABET‑accredited engineering program or related field.
• Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills with attention to detail.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to project needs.

Responsibilities

• Assist project teams with technical and administrative tasks.
• Participate in construction/site inspections and fieldwork as applicable.
• Collect, organize, analyze, and enter project data and prepare plans using AutoCAD.
• Support reports, project documentation, and GIS data entry.
