Job summary

Western Partitions, Inc. (WPI) is seeking a Logistics Specialist to coordinate outbound shipments from manufacturing to customer sites. You will work with production teams, trucking providers, and customers to ensure on-time delivery and accurate records.

The role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to adapt to project schedules in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate has 2–5 years in logistics or manufacturing, with experience in MES/ERP systems

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience in logistics, transportation coordination, manufacturing, or supply chain operations.
• Experience with construction projects, modular construction, or oversized loads preferred.
• Experience coordinating freight claims and damage resolution preferred.
• Ability to work independently and in a team with strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate trucking and transportation providers for outbound shipments.
• Schedule deliveries to customer project sites and construction locations.
• Track shipment status from manufacturing through final delivery.
• Maintain shipping records and product status within MES/ERP systems.
• Coordinate with packaging teams to load safely and efficiently.
• Verify shipping documentation and delivery records.
• Monitor shipment schedules and provide delivery updates.
• Investigate shipping damages, shortages, and delivery issues.
• Collaborate with carriers and internal teams to resolve freight claims.
• Manage inventory and procurement of packaging materials.
