Job summary

Regions Bank, located in Hoover, Alabama, seeks a Credit Products Construction Loan Monitoring Analyst to oversee risk on commercial construction loan projects across the bank’s footprint.

You will review contracts and underwriting requirements, advise field teams, and coordinate with Credit Products and Loan Fulfillment to ensure timely documentation and approvals before loan closings. Onsite work is four days a week at Hoover, AL, with opportunities in Atlanta or Charlotte as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and three (3) years of previous real estate underwriting, construction loan disbursement, loan fulfillment, or related commercial banking experience.
• Or High School Diploma or GED and seven (7) years of previous real estate underwriting, construction loan disbursement, loan fulfillment, or related commercial banking experience.

Responsibilities

• Reviews construction contracts and other construction-related documents to ensure compliance with policy and identify issues.
• Reviews underwriting-approved construction loan requirements with field teams to ensure adherence to policies and procedures.
• Serves as a subject matter expert for the field, advising on construction projects.
• Obtains, reviews, and approves preliminary construction documentation prior to loan closing.
• Evaluates and approves draw requests with required documentation per policy.
