The role involves reviewing contracts, ensuring policy compliance, and coordinating with field teams to secure necessary documentation before closing, while acting as a subject matter expert on construction projects and supporting senior analysts in issue resolution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and three (3) years of prior real estate underwriting, construction loan disbursement, loan fulfillment, or related commercial banking experience
• Or High School Diploma or GED and seven (7) years of prior real estate underwriting, construction loan disbursement, loan fulfillment, or related commercial banking experience
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills

Responsibilities

• Reviews construction contracts and related documents to ensure policy compliance and identify issues
• Reviews underwriting-approved construction loan requirements with field teams to ensure adherence to policies
• Serves as a subject matter expert for construction projects
• Coordinates with Credit Products and Loan Fulfillment to obtain, review, and approve required preliminary documentation before loan closing
• Evaluates and approves draw requests with proper documentation per policy and guidelines
• Supports senior analysts in resolving field issues by coordinating with Relationship Team and Credit Products
• Creates and maintains sources and uses worksheets reflecting budgets and change orders
• Reconciles contractor draw requests with available loan funds
• Partners with other lenders on agent and non-agent projects
• Manages third party construction consulting inspection firms
• Maintains relationships with title contacts and inspectors; completes post-project scorecards
• Secures final construction completion documents and verifies no outstanding issues
• Assists with training and mentoring new construction loan monitoring analysts
• Collaborates with Commercial Banking segments to support project success
