Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years in real estate underwriting, construction loan disbursement, or related commercial banking experience; or a high school diploma with 7+ years in similar roles.

Responsibilities

• Reviews construction contracts to ensure policy compliance and identify issues.
• Reviews underwriting-approved construction loan requirements with field teams.
• Serves as a subject matter expert for commercial construction projects.
• Coordinates with Credit Products and Loan Fulfillment for documentation prior to closing.
• Evaluates and approves draw requests with proper documentation.
• Supports senior analysts by coordinating with Relationship Team and Credit Products.
• Creates sources and uses worksheets reflecting a balanced construction budget.
• Reconciles contractor draw requests with available loan funds.
• Partners with other lenders on agent and non-agent projects.
• Manages third-party construction consulting inspection firms.
• Maintains relationships with title contacts and inspectors; completes post-project scorecards.
• Secures final construction completion documents and resolves issues.
• Assists in training new construction loan monitoring analysts.
• Collaborates with segments such as Commercial Banking, Real Estate Banking, and Capital Markets.
