Job summary

BankUnited is seeking a Construction Loan Administrator to handle the administration and servicing of construction and renovation loans, including coordination with borrowers, inspectors, and the credit department. The role covers lien waivers, budgets, retainage, and insurance compliance across diverse loan types.

The candidate should have 1-3 years of related experience, knowledge of LOS systems, and familiarity with AIA documentation. SBA construction experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent required.
• 1-3 years of investor reporting, accounting, syndicated loan, construction loan administration experience required.
• SBA construction-related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer and service Construction/Renovation loans.
• Serve as liaison for Borrower, inspection firm, and internal Credit Department.
• Review advance packages with required backup for accuracy and compliance.
