Our client, a real estate powerhouse with a highly regarded construction practice in New York, seeks a Construction Litigation Senior Associate with 6+ years of experience in construction disputes. The successful candidate will represent large developers, owners and investors in litigation, mediation and arbitration and excel at pleadings and depositions.

Admission to the New York bar is required; salary ranges from $245,000 to $275,000 plus a liberal bonus and outstanding benefits.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of construction litigation experience in a midsized or boutique practice.
• Experience representing large developers, owners and investors in construction litigation, mediation and arbitration.
• Excellent writing skills for pleadings and related documents.
• Superior presentation and advocacy for court appearances and depositions.
• Ability to develop case strategies with clients on design errors and omissions, project delays, breach of contract and more.

The ideal candidate will have 6+ years of construction litigation experience in a midsized or boutique construction practice, representing top tier clients in sophisticated construction disputes.

The Senior Associate must have experience representing large developers, owners and investors in construction litigation, mediation and arbitration, and must possess excellent writing skills to draft pleadings and other documents. In addition, superior presentation and advocacy skills are required for court appearances and depositions, as well as the ability to develop case strategies with clients on matters ranging from design errors and omissions to project delays, breach of contract and more.

Admission to practice law in New York is required. Compensation includes a salary of $245,000 to $275,000, plus liberal bonus and an outstanding benefits package.
