Job summary

A Virginia-based litigation firm seeks an Associate Litigation Attorney with 3–5 years of civil litigation experience for direct client contact and hands-on courtroom work.

You will manage your own caseload from inception through resolution, draft pleadings and discovery, take and defend depositions, argue motions, and coordinate with construction experts. The environment is mentorship-driven with ownership of your cases.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Active Virginia law license.
• 3–5 years of civil litigation experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage your own caseload from inception through resolution.
• Conduct client consultations and develop litigation strategy.
• Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery.
• Take and defend depositions.
• Arguing motions in court; participate in mediations and settlement negotiations.
• Work with construction experts and consultants.
• Preparing cases for trial, arbitration, and evidentiary hearings.
• Maintaining consistent communication with clients.
